Welcome! The Long Island 2 Day Walk To Fight Breast Cancer is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit dedicated to helping Long Islander's affected by breast cancer. Since its inception the LI2DAY has raised over $2 Million from the annual 35-mile,two day walk. LI2DAY helps fund programs that assist with medical expenses, transportation, prosthetics and wigs, physical therapy, child care and more. While researchers forge ahead to determine why breast cancer rates are so high on Long Island and to find a cure, LI2DAY will continue to raise awareness and much needed funds for the women and men in our community who are fighting breast cancer right now - emotionally, physically and financially. Registration for our 6th Annual Walk on June 6th & 7th 2009 will open in early October 2008. Please consider being part of the unique event that benefits your fellow Long Islanders. SAKS 5th Avenue "Key To A Cure" Shopping Fundraiser Sayville Apple Fest at Islip Grange Enjoy this spectacular free fair which has the flavor of an old time harvest festival. Craft vendors will be on hand as well as continuous entertainment. Children of all ages can enter contests for apple pie eating, apple baked goods and scarecrows.
